Nepal Buddhist Association is a non-profitable, non-governmental association with envisions of peace and compassion among all beings. Founded in the year 2017, Nepal Buddhist Association has worked to not only collaborate and organize Buddhist followers of many races, ethnic groups, and languages, but also to protect, promote, and reinforce the Buddha Dharma's culture and rights. The Association's overall goal is to do everything necessary to promote Buddhism in Nepal in a healthy manner.

About Us

Nepal Buddhist Association is a non-profitable, non-governmental association established by Chogyal Rinpoche who envisions peace and compassion among all beings. He began this project to build Monasteries all over Nepal for the betterment of the people without carrying any personal motives. In general, the objectives of the association are:

To rebuild 108 monasteries damaged by earthquake in 2015 all over Nepal.

To promote, preserve, and conserve Buddhism as a religion.

To search, develop and promote Buddhist sites in Nepal by producing audio-visual materials and publishing journals.

To defend the rights of Buddhist followers based on the principle of religious tolerance.
